A new modern villa located in a relaxed private place with a large garden with fruit trees, palm trees and a variety of flowers.

A salt water private swimming pool 12X6 meters with a lovely barbecue just the right conditions to recharge energies for the whole coming year. Ideal for a family beach holiday or walkers who  enjoy the stunning nature as well as the portuguese culture.

The north of Portugal is a very beautiful region where you can find not only the tranquility of the countryside but also the sea breeze, the beaches, the towns, historical monuments, all kind of sports and the vicinity of the river and Spain.

Changeover day

Changeover day: Saturday

Flexibility during low and mid season.

Please vacate the property until 10.00 am to allow the maid to clean before the arrival of new guests.

Entry to the villa at 3.00 p.m

All linen and towels changed once a week by maid service.

The Keys will be giving to you on the arrival at the House by the owner or by his representative.

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE:

Daily service is not included in the rental rate.

The price includes towels and bed linen.

It isn`t allowed to take towels or linens from the property. Only beach towels.

The owners supply beach towels to use also out of the property.

The housekeeping will put water in some plants twice a week at the end of the day, because the automatic irrigation doesn`t reach all places. The pool will be cleaned weekly by an technical man.

Coast/Beach

The Moledo beach is 10 minutes by car with surf schools, bars and restaurants and Afife beach 15 minutes. The northern beaches are known for their beautiful and a stunning nature.

The river Minho is a 2 kms from the house and you can take the ferry boat to Spain where you can discover another country and another culture.

Places of special interest

The nearest town is the historical village of Caminha, 3,5 kms away and it that is located 1,8 km from the Atlantic Ocean, on the southern side of the Minho estuary. Here the Minho river reaches its widest point (about 2 km) and marks the border between Portugal and Spain.

It is a rich town in history and culture. Here you can find bars, supermarkets, restaurants, boutiques, shops, a train station, a ferry boat an all you need. There is also a weekly open market hold every Wednesday.

Vilar Mouros is situated 3 kms from the villa it became famous as the location for the oldest rock festival in Portugal.

Vila Nova Cerveira is also an historical village with a beautiful Parish Church, a Castle, Arts Festival, restaurants, an open market every Saturday and the possibility for water sports, just at 8,5 kms (N13 – 13 minutes)

Valença is situated in the far northwest of Portugal, on the left bank of the Minho River full of history. There you can find a spa specialized for skin disorders. (28 kms - N13 – 33 minutes)

Viana do Castelo is a town just 36 kms away (A28 – 32 minutes) with all the facilities for amusements.

Guimarães, 2012 European capital of culture, is a lovely old city, the place where Portugal was born. (at 108 kms A28 e A11 – 1 h13 minutes).

Porto is the second biggest town in Portugal (104 kms), full of interest it offers the visitors plenty to see. Right next to Porto you can visit in Vila Nova de Gaia the wine cellars where Porto wine is blended and aged and where you can taste the different varieties. You may also choose to make a river cruise along the Douro. (A28 – 1h12 minutes)

The Peneda-Gerês National Park is a lovely jumble of regenerating oaks forets , plateau peat bogs, green valleys, and 300 million year old of granite heights,  119 kms (A28 - 1h51 minutes).

Further south Coimbra city is rich in its history (222 kms, A28 e A1 – 2h15 minutes)

Fátima is a portugese city famous for the religious visions since 1917. (294 kms, A28 e A1 - 2h54 minutes).

Lisbon capital of Portugal is the city of light at a distance of 416 kms (A1 - 4h06m).

In Spain you can visit Santiago de Compostela  139 kms away(AP9 – 1h40 minutes), Vigo (56,8 kms- N13 and A55 – 58 minutes), Bayona (38,2 kms, PO 552- 1h04 minutes), Corunha (210 kms, AP9 - 2h15minutes.

Further details

It is the ideal place for hikes, bicycle trips, canoeing, boat trips and all kind of water sports.

The gastronomy is amazing and you can delight yourself with fresh fish and enjoy others specialities.

Many possibilities for this sport namely Ponte de Lima at 30 kms (A 28 e A27 - 44 minutes)or Quinta da Barca  at 57,4 Kms (A28 - 44 minutes).

La Toja, in Spain, is a 122 kms (AP 9 - 1h42).

Booking notes

The booking must be accompanied by a deposit of 20%.

Final payment should be made at the arrival date.

A €800 refundable damage deposit is payable together with the final payment. It should be made by bank transfer. This amount will be reimbursed to you at the end of your stay.

In case you require a guide to receive you at the Airport and take you to the villa there will be an extra charge.

PLEASE NOTE:

It´s not allowed lying down any objects inside the toiletes.

The garbage must be put in the containers of the street.

The garage will be closed with personal objects of the owner.

A parking place will be able inside of property.

Parties are not allowed in the property.

Attention to switch off the swimming pool’ lights at the end of the night.

Attention not to let personal objects outside, in the garden, because of the automatic irrigation, during the night.
